Margaryta Golovko has captured classical music audiencesaround the world as one of the most intriguing, versatileand unique artists of her generation. She has performed as a soloist as well as a collaborative pianist in prestigiousconcert halls in Ukraine, France, Germany, Czech Republic, Russia, Romania and United States. Margaryta has appeared with the Kyiv State Symphony Orchestra, the Bacau Philharmonic Orchestra, Plzen Philarmonic,Waterloo Cedar Falls Symphony and many others. In June of 2014 Margaryta Golovko became the first prizewinner of the Midwest International Competition in theUSA. She has also won top prizes in Smetana International Piano Competition in Czech Republic, Citta di Marsalaand Citta di Acquavivadelle Fonti International Piano Competitions in Italy. Native of Ukraine, Margaryta started her piano studies atthe age of five. In 1997 she entered the Kiev Special MusicSchool named after M.V. Lysenko, and continued herstudies from 2004 – 2009 at the National Music Academyof Ukraine P. I. Tchaikovsky (NMAU) where she was a student of Boris Fedorov. She has also studied with Piero Rattalino at the International Piano Academy “Incontri col Maestri” in Imola, Italy.
