This CD includes works for solo violin (À Paganini), two works for violin and piano (Sonata No. 1 and Stille Hacht), Stille Music for violin and cello, and two works for two violins – Moz-Art and Praeludium: In Memoriam Dmitri Shostakovich. For this project Dr. Shiganyan is joined by other young talented Uzbek musicians: pianist Iskander Zakirov, cellist Ildar Khuziakhmetov, and violinists Ordabek Duissen and Vladimir Dyo. Produced and engineered by Sergei Kvitko and recorded at Blue Griffin’s Studio The Ballroom.
