EXCURSIONS (The Vuorovesi Trio)

New album from The Vuorovesi Trio (flutist Diane Boyd Schultz , oboist Mary Lindsey Bailey and clarinetist Osiris J. Molina) presents works by living American composers to highlight the rich diversity and innovation present in contemporary woodwind music. The inherent differences of timbre and range that make the flute, oboe, and clarinet unique are celebrated in these pieces. By featuring these composers, the trio aims to promote the voices shaping the future of classical music and engage the vibrant cultural landscape of America today.
