CUBA, ALABAMA is the result of the diverse connections between performers and composers from Cuba and from the University of Alabama’s College of Arts and Sciences. This ambitious project, conceived and led by the clarinetist Osiris J. Molina (New Jersey, 1973), manages to cover several perspectives of the rich panorama of the contemporary practice of the clarinet in Cuban concert music.
