Goldberg Variations (Chih-Long Hu)

Pianist Chih-Long Hu performs the inspiring Goldberg Variations. The complex, virtuosic and genius of the Variations are on full display on Hu’s latest release. Included are Hu’s work, “Afterthoughts on Bach’s Goldberg Variations” which utilizes musical styles from the baroque, classical, romantic styles as well as ragtime, pop songs and jazz in an attempt to bridge the 300-year gap between Bach and the present.
