FANFARE MAGAZINE Jan/Feb 2020

The present disc features [Jenni Brandon’s] oboe music, vividly presented by oboist Lindabeth Binkley and her colleagues on oboe, clarinet, bassoon, and piano. Wood Song for solo oboe opens the recital, and from the first notes I heard from Binkley I realized I was in for a treat. Her playing is suave and expressive, with the purest tone imaginable.

This is a fine recital of first-rate oboe playing.

Jenni Brandon could hardly ask for a better presentation of her beautifully lyrical works. The interest in this recital should certainly transcend the oboe community, and indeed, I recommend it to all comers.
